Telangana passes the Telangana Backward Classes, Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribes (Reservation in Education and Appointments in State Services) 2025 proposing 42 percent reservation for backward classes, 18 percent for scheduled caste citizens, and 10 percent for scheduled tribe citizens in educational institutions and employment in the state.
