The midterm elections are six weeks away, and voters are frustrated with the state of the economy, particularly the cost of gasoline and diesel. Diesel prices, which are at historic highs, are hurting American farmers, and the additional costs could soon be passed on to consumers through higher food prices.

Join the Energy Security and Climate Change Program and industry experts for a conversation about what is driving diesel prices to historic highs and the potential effects of policy options, including extending the Jones Act waiver beyond November 15, waiving the federal rule requiring refiners to sell renewable fuel, imposing a diesel export ban, and pursuing settlements involving Russia and Ukraine or Iran.
