Ms. Kelly Ann Shaw is a Partner in Akin’s Lobbying and Public Policy Practice. Previously she spent a decade in government service, holding a number of high-profile and influential roles as a senior U.S. negotiator, litigator, diplomat and policy advisor. Most recently, she served as President Trump’s Deputy Assistant to the President for International Economic Affairs. She was one of the key architects of the administration’s trade, investment, energy, and national security policies.
Ms. Wendy Cutler is Senior Vice President at the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) where she focuses on leading initiatives that address challenges related to trade, investment, economic security, and innovation, as well as women’s empowerment in Asia. She joined ASPI following an illustrious career of nearly three decades as a diplomat and negotiator in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), where she also served as Acting Deputy U.S. Trade Representative.
Mr. Riley Walters is a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute. Prior to joining Hudson, he was a senior policy analyst and economist in the Asian Studies Center at The Heritage Foundation. Previously, he was a Penn Kemble fellow with the National Endowment for Democracy, a George C. Marshall fellow at the Heritage Foundation, a national security fellow with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, and a Kim Koo fellow with the Korea Society.
