The Cyber Safety Review Board: Reflecting on the Past & Charting the Future
Brought to you by
Please join the CSIS Defending Democratic Institutions Project on Monday, September 9 at 9:15 AM for a conversation on The Cyber Safety Review Board: Reflecting on the Past & Charting the Future with Robert Silvers, the Under Secretary for Policy at the Department of Homeland Security.
Cybersecurity is a cornerstone of national defense in the digital age. As directed in President Biden’s Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity, the Cyber Safety Review Board (CSRB) was established to enhance the resilience of our cyber infrastructure and plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the nation's digital frontiers. The Board, a public-private initiative, serves a deliberative function to review and assess significant cyber incidents and make concrete recommendations to drive improvements across the private and public sectors.
This conversation will include a discussion of the board’s accomplishments to date, including its recently released report on the Microsoft Online Exchange Incident, and its direction moving forward.
This event is made possible through general support to CSIS.
