Future of U.S.-Europe Relations: A Discussion with Dr. Lawrence Freedman

Please join the Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI), the Arleigh A. Burke Chair in Strategy, and the Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program on Thursday, March 26th at 3 pm for a discussion on the future of U.S.-Europe relations.  

The conversation will take stock of the current state of transatlantic relations and will evaluate risks and opportunities for the evolving relationship. The event, chaired by Dr. Eliot Cohen and Dr. Heather Williams, will feature Dr. Lawrence Freedman, the renowned British academic and strategist. The discussion will consider the stakes of U.S.-Europe relations, including for extended nuclear deterrence and strategic stability in Europe.  

This will be a hybrid event hosted at CSIS and livestreamed from this webpage, with the opportunity for in person and online viewers to submit live questions. In-person attendance will be limited; please RSVP to secure a spot.
