Please join the CSIS Aerospace Security Project on Wednesday, October 30 at 10:00 AM EDT for a virtual discussion with Dr. John J. Klein, Senior Fellow and Strategist at Falcon Research, Inc. and Adjunct Professor at George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute and Georgetown University’s Strategic Studies Program, on his recent book, Space Warfare: Strategy, Principles and Policy (Routledge, 2025). 

The newly updated second edition, Space Warfare examines the theoretical underpinnings of spacepower, using strategic analogies to land and sea, and provides insights into foundational military space strategy. The discussion will delve into themes of competition and conflict in the space domain.

Introductory remarks will be given by Kari A. Bingen, Director of the Aerospace Security Project and Senior Fellow with the International Security Program. The event will be moderated by Makena Young, Fellow with the Aerospace Security Project.
