U.S.-Vietnam Conference 2024

January 23, 2024 • 9:30 am – 3:00 pm EST

Brought to you by

The Center for Strategic & International Studies is hosting a major U.S.-Vietnam Conference on January 23, 2024. Join us for a conversation featuring keynote remarks from senior U.S. and Vietnamese officials and panel discussions on key issues related to the U.S.-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including strategic and security cooperation, trade, technology, and energy, and education, culture, and history. The conference will serve as the official launch event for a new U.S.-Vietnam Initiative at CSIS.

The conference follows the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the U.S.-Vietnam Comprehensive Partnership, and U.S. President Joe Biden’s September 2023 visit to Vietnam, where he and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong unveiled the U.S. Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

This event is made possible by support from Energy Capital Vietnam and the Vietnam-America Research and Education Fund, Inc (VAREF).
