April Alston

April Alston is an accounting clerk at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In this role, April provides accounting and administrative support to the chief financial officer (CFO), assisting with cash and treasury management, regulatory compliance, corporate card programs, business insurance programs, and other special projects. In addition, April provides accounting support to the finance and accounting team by recording transactions, updating systems, and responding to staff inquiries. Prior to joining CSIS, April graduated from the Year-Up training program in Arlington, VA. April holds a certificate in accounting and is a registered notary in the District of Columbia.
