Maylene Shanbrom

Maylene Shanbrom is a learning and development associate for Executive Education at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. She supports the creation and execution of programs that provide global leaders with development opportunities in foreign policy. She is responsible for CSIS’s Asia-focused executive education programs, including courses on China’s rise as a global superpower and its Belt and Road Initiative. She graduated with honors from Vassar College with a BA in international studies and a minor in Chinese. She has also studied at Peking University and interned in Beijing. Prior to joining CSIS, she worked in Los Angeles as a strategic communications consultant.
