Mohammed Muwaabe is a senior budget analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. In this role, Mohammed provides budget planning and financial analysis and reporting support to a portfolio of programs and administrative departments. Prior to joining CSIS, Mohammed worked as a lead financial analyst for Abt Associates in Rockville, Maryland, overseeing a portfolio that ranged from various healthcare projects in India and Jordan to an economic community program in sub-Saharan Africa. Mohammed’s previous career includes a good deal of international experience from working at the UN office in Geneva (Switzerland) and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), where he provided financial management and support for CHAI field sector offices around the world. Mohammed received a bachelor’s degree in commerce (accounting) from Delhi University (Dyal Singh College) in India and a postgraduate degree in project and program management from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
