Africa’s development pathway requires creative thinking and bold international cooperation that recognizes the continent’s unique challenges and opportunities. Innovative financing and strategic foresight are integral to bridging Africa’s infrastructure financing gap.
Africa’s pathway to development requires creative thinking and bold international cooperation that recognizes the reality of the financing gap undermining action to address the continent’s social and economic challenges. Innovative financing and strategic foresight are integral to bridging this gap. To achieve this, a mix of domestic resource mobilization, public and private sector partnerships, and international cooperation is critical. Key strategies will include reforming financial markets, attracting new forms of investment, and leveraging innovative financing tools that can boost trade within Africa and between Africa and the rest of the world.
