The Platform for U.S.-Africa Policy Exchange

The CSIS Africa Program is launching a new cohort-based fellowship that connects mid- to senior-level African analysts, researchers, and institutions directly into U.S.–Africa policy conversations in Washington.

Supported by a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation, and guided by a distinguished advisory board, the fellowship connects and strengthens platforms for African leadership in global governance discussions. Over a one-year term, fellows engage directly with U.S. policymakers and CSIS scholars to collaborate on research projects that advance innovative African-led analysis on the questions shaping African countries’ relations with the U.S. and the continent's global engagement.
