We are the largest dedicated India policy team at a global think tank, combining multidisciplinary research with sustained engagement across the United States and India. We work across economic reform, energy and climate, emerging technology, healthcare, urbanization, and U.S.-India relations, engaging decisionmakers at the bilateral, national, state, and municipal levels.

Our public-facing reports, commentaries, and events are important outputs of this work, but they are only part of our model. We devote substantial time to private consultations, off-the-record workshops, and small-group roundtables with the policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and practitioners responsible for shaping and implementing policy in the United States and India.

Our role is therefore not simply to study policy from a distance. We create trusted channels for dialogue among the people making and carrying out decisions, then translate what we learn into actionable research and stronger policy outcomes.
