Are We in a New Era of Securing Strategic Infrastructure?
Brought to you by
This panel discussion will explore how the U.S. economic toolkit can better secure and support the development of critical infrastructure overseas, both to meet the needs of partner countries and safeguard American security and economic interests. A core focus for the panel will be advancing a more proactive U.S. institutional framework to better coordinate public and private capital in collaboration with allies, and to scale development finance and strategic capital to mobilize private investment more effectively for security and development impacts alike.
The event will end with an audience Q&A.
Topics of discussion will include maritime infrastructure like ports and shipyards; digital infrastructure like subsea cables; and transportation infrastructure like airports and railways.
Additional speakers will be announced soon.
