Leslie Palti-Guzman

Leslie Palti-Guzman is a seasoned energy market analyst, strategic advisor, entrepreneur, and podcaster. She is a recognized expert in global gas markets, commodity trading, liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure, energy policy, maritime trade, and geoeconomics. She is the founder of Energy Vista, a strategic advisory firm delivering foresight at the intersection of energy, shipping, and global affairs—leveraging open-source intelligence, alternative data, and a high-level network. Previously, Leslie cofounded and led Gas Vista, a predictive analytics firm focused on seaborne commodity flows. Its proprietary platform, Leviaton, offered forward-looking insights into LNG trade, shipping routes, and emissions. In 2023, Gas Vista and Leviaton were acquired by SynMax, where she served as head of research and Leviaton product owner. Leslie is a senior fellow at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs and a senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She hosts the Energy Vista podcast, which explores the geopolitics of energy. She has testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and frequently speaks at global forums and on television as an expert commentator. Her earlier roles include leading global gas at Rapidan Energy Group, serving as a non-resident fellow at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy, and working as a senior analyst at Eurasia Group. She holds an MA from the Fletcher School at Tufts and degrees from Sciences Po Paris. A native French speaker also fluent in Spanish, Leslie lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
