Youth comprise a quarter of the world’s population, but remain a relatively untapped source of innovation, energy, and enthusiasm in global efforts to achieve and promote development, prosperity and security for all. In response, the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), with principal financial support from Hilton Worldwide, have joined forces to develop a Global Youth Wellbeing Index as the flagship project of a new broader policy research agenda. This first-of-its-kind Index gathers existing data and includes 30 countries across five major regions and all income categories, representing nearly 70% of the world’s youth population.  The Index seeks to assess and compare how young people are doing around the world, and in doing so, advance the policy agenda concerning youth and serve as a guide for strategic investments in youth.

Please join us for a special event to celebrate the global launch of the inaugural Global Youth Wellbeing Index.  Light refreshments will be served.

Further details to follow; please RSVP to PPD@csis.org
